SUBSTANCE: method involves shoveling out of the soil of weeds in the form of roots, grass and their gathering in piles. Initially, the beds are loosened and raked out of the soil in one motion with a two-row rake at angle of 45° to the longitudinal line of the bed with raking of weeds by a comb and fan-shaped rakes in the form of roots and grass on the path. At the next stage, roots and grass are raked perpendicular to the previous movement, at angle of 135° to the longitudinal line of the bed with a fan-shaped rake on itself to the path. Final stage is loosening and raking of roots and grass from the bed in one movement with a double-row rake across the bed with raking of weeds in the form of roots and grass on the path with a comb and fan-shaped rakes and removal of roots and grass from the path.

EFFECT: method provides higher ergonomics when using double-row rakes.
