FIELD: calibration of sensors.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of calibrating heat flow sensors with a rotating mirror with a variable distance and can be used in high-speed gas-dynamic experiments, in gas dynamics, in studying flame and chemical reactions with heat release. Laser radiation is fed into the optical path in the form of a parallel beam. Radiation converter installed in the optical path changes the shape, size and intensity of the laser beam while maintaining its parallelism. Rotating flat mirror is used to scan the obtained laser radiation reflected from the rotating flat mirror on the surface of the sensor being calibrated. By varying the distance from the rotating flat mirror to the calibrated sensor, the duration of the laser radiation pulse on the calibrated sensor is varied. Surface of the calibrated sensor is installed perpendicular to the axis of the incident laser radiation, and the calibrated sensor is maintained at a given temperature by placing on a heat-removing plate.

EFFECT: improving accuracy and speed of calibration and its simplification.
