FIELD: calibration of sensors.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of calibrating heat flow sensors using laser radiation and can be used in high-speed gas-dynamic experiments, in gas dynamics, in studying flame and chemical reactions with heat release. Laser radiation is fed into the optical path in the form of a parallel beam. By varying the intensity of the laser radiation, the heat flux to the sensor is simulated by simulating the fluxes obtained in real experiments. A radiation converter installed in the optical path changes the shape, size and angle of expansion or contraction of the laser beam. A diffusing optical element is installed in front of the sensor. Surface of the sensor and the scattering optical element are arranged mainly perpendicular to the axis of the laser radiation incident on them, note here that said transducer is kept at preset temperature by placing it on heat-removing plate while heat is applied at preset intervals.
EFFECT: improving accuracy and speed of calibration and its simplification.
