FIELD: cleaning devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for cleaning sucker rods. Device for cleaning sucker rods contains a housing consisting of lower and upper parts with a node for their fixation relative to each other. The housing is made with a central hole with the possibility of its fastening by means of a thread on the wellhead. A cleaning element is located in the housing cavity, and a slot is made in the upper part of the housing, mating with the central hole. The cleaning element is rigidly fixed between the lower and upper parts of the housing, made in the form of an annular cage, consisting of two annular segments forming an annular cavity, in which a two-stage elastic cuff is placed, reinforced inside with a C-shaped metal ring. The first stage of smaller diameter tightly covers the surface of the body of the rod from the outside, and the second step of the larger diameter tightly covers the surface of the rod coupling from the outside. The assembly for fixing the lower and upper parts of the body is made in the form of two clamps located at an angle of 180° to each other. Each of the clamps consists of a rod, as well as a lower hollow cylinder with internal thread, located one below the other, welded to the lower part of the body, and an upper hollow cylinder, welded to the upper part of the body. In the lower part, the rod is provided with an external thread for the internal thread of the lower hollow cylinder. A ring is welded to the upper end of the rod, and two handles are welded to the upper part of the body at an angle of 180° with respect to each other.

EFFECT: improving the quality of cleaning the surface of sucker rods from oil, reducing oil losses during cleaning, simplifying the design of the cleaning device, reducing the cost of manufacturing the cleaning device, eliminating oil pollution of the working site, operating equipment, wellhead equipment and the surrounding area of ​​the well, improving working conditions for maintenance personnel.
