SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to plastic and aesthetic surgery. In augmentation mammoplasty, a transaxillary approach in a standing position involves a skin marking of a costal arch of the patient. Then, in the prone position, the skin is shifted until the skin marking of the costal arch is aligned with the position of the patient’s costal arch, and the position of the submammary fold is marked to form a pocket for the implant.
EFFECT: method enables increasing the accuracy of the position of the submammary fold when forming the pocket for the implant.
