FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: magnetic sensor of displacements frequency comprises a magnetic field source based on a permanent magnet fixed on the movable controlled object and a magnetic field converter installed in the housing, the sensitivity axis of which is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the sensor, wherein magnetic field converter is made in form of working throttle with core of rod type, installed in tip of housing on electronic printed circuit board located along longitudinal axis of housing, at some distance from working throttle and perpendicular to it on electronic printed-circuit board there fixed is a choke for comparison of inductances. Results of comparison of the measured values are used to determine the presence or absence of a permanent magnet in the tip of housing sensitivity zone.

EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the sensor.
