FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna technology, in particular to positioning automation systems for fast guidance of non-motorized antenna systems of small aperture diameter to a relay satellite. Technical result is achieved by the fact that the positioning automation device for small antenna systems, comprising a display, a keyboard, GNSS (global navigation satellite system) module, internal memory, positioner/processor and power supply, made in a single housing, wherein the keyboard, the GNSS module are connected directly to the positioner/processor, which displays information on the display, and all elements of the device are connected to one internal power supply, is characterized by that on the housing of the device there is an external connector to which and a three-axis tilt-compensated compass and a received signal level sensor which can be mounted on the antenna system.
EFFECT: providing rapid guidance of a satellite dish of a small aperture by elevation angle and azimuth.
