FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, including pulse power conversion equipment, and is intended for use as a secondary source with high power factor for supplying DC loads in the presence of primary independent or network-wide sources of three-phase alternating current. Three-phase AC-to-DC converter with increased power factor comprises input terminals for connection to AC phases, to each of which voltage and current sensors are connected in series, six power diodes are divided into two groups, wherein the diodes of the first group have cathodes, and the diodes of the second group have anodes, the first and second chokes, the first and second power transistors, the first and second power diodes, upper and lower capacitors connected in series, an input zero terminal connected to a common point of capacitors, two output terminals, wherein the positive terminal is connected to the other end of the upper capacitor, and the negative terminal to the other end of the lower capacitor, the control unit. Data inputs of the control unit are connected to voltage and current sensors in phases, and control outputs to control inputs of power transistors. Anodes of three diodes of the first group and cathodes of three diodes of the second group are connected to three outputs of chains consisting of series-connected voltage and current sensors. First choke is connected by one end to combined cathodes of diodes of the first group, and by the other end to anode of the first power diode, which cathode is connected to positive output terminal. Second choke is connected by one end to combined anodes of diodes of the second group, and by the other end to cathode of the second power diode, which anode is connected to negative output terminal. Power transistors are connected in series, and their common point is connected to the input zero terminal. Positive electrode of the first transistor is connected to the common point of the first choke and the first diode, and the negative electrode of the second transistor is connected to the common point of the second choke and the second diode.

EFFECT: possibility of improving power factor of the device with simultaneous increase in efficiency, operational reliability and manufacturability.
