BOOSTING VOLTAGE RECTIFIER Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC H02M7/217

Abstract RU 2726156 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to electrical engineering and power electronics, in particular, to static step-up electrical converters of AC voltage to DC voltage, and can also be used in a two-link frequency converter with an intermediate DC link. Voltage rectifier circuit comprises a transistor and a cut-off diode, which realize energy accumulation process in throttles with subsequent output of this energy to output of step-up converter of DC voltage and to charge of condenser capacity installed at output of step-up converter of voltage. If it is necessary to obtain three voltage levels at the output of voltage boosting rectifier, the latter may be equipped with additional transistor, diode and condenser.

EFFECT: technical result is reduction of number of semiconductor elements of power circuit, higher efficiency, improved functional capabilities, simplified control system, increased reliability during its operation, reduced weight and dimensions of voltage rectifier.
