SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to protein engineering, which increases enzymatic activity and thermal stability of human hyaluronidase, which is an enzyme that hydrolyses hyaluronic acid; and more specifically to versions of hyaluronidase PH20 or fragments thereof, which contain one or more substitutions of amino acid residues in the region, corresponding region of alpha-helix and its linker region in amino acid sequence PH20 of wild type from SEQ ID NO: 1, and in which selectively one or more amino acid residues at the N-terminal and/or C-terminal are additionally split off.

EFFECT: novel versions of hyaluronidase and a pharmaceutical composition containing them are disclosed.
