SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to otorhinolaryngology, and can be used in the surgical treatment of diseases of the nasal cavity, namely curvature of the nasal septum, perforation of the nasal septum and synechiae of the nasal cavity. The septal splint is made in the form of a plate of elastic material, has a shape close to the anatomical shape of the nasal septum, the plate is made with one or two bends over the entire plane along a line perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the splint. The first bend is made at an angle α = 10° ÷ 45°, while the bend line is located from the front edge of the plate at a distance L2 = 0.2 ÷ 0.8 L1. The second bend is made at an angle β = 10° ÷ 45°, directed in the opposite direction relative to the first bend, while the second bend line is located from the first bend line of the plate at a distance L3 = 0.1÷0.3 L1, while L3 + L2 ≤ 0.9 L1, and the value of the angle of the second bend is equal to or less than the value of the angle β of the first bend.

EFFECT: use of an septal splint makes it possible to increase the efficiency of surgical treatment of curvature of the nasal septum, perforation of the nasal septum and synechiae of the nasal cavity by increasing the force of pressing the plate against the nasal septum in the posterior region, which prevents the development of complications in the postoperative period.
