SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular to otorhinolaryngology, and can be used in the surgical treatment of diseases of the nasal cavity, namely curvature of the nasal septum, perforation of the nasal septum and synechiae of the nasal cavity. The septal splint in the form of a plate made of elastic material is made according to the anatomical shape of the nasal septum, the plate is equipped with a support platform in the form of an extended strip located along the lower edge of the plate at an angle from 60 to 110 degrees and made to support the structures of the bottom of the nasal cavity. The plate and strip are made in the form of a single part with a coating of the outer surface with a layer containing silver molecules with a silver of at least 99.9 wt. % with a thickness of 10 to 200 nm.

EFFECT: use of a septal splint makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of surgical treatment of nasal septum curvature and reduce the time to achieve a therapeutic effect due to reliable fixation of the splint in the nasal cavity after surgical treatment in combination with antimicrobial action that reduces the risk of splint seeding and infectious complications.
