SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular to otolaryngology, and can be used in the surgical treatment of diseases of the nasal cavity, namely the curvature of the nasal septum. In the method, the intranasal device (splint) has a base made of elastic material, made in the form of plate (1), and air guide tube (2) fixed on it, in the front and rear sections of which elastic filled chambers (3, 4) are located. Said device is intended for installation in the nasal cavity at the final stage of surgical treatment of nasal septum curvature and chronic rhinitis. Said base plate of a heptagonal shape provides shielding of the nasal septum in the postoperative period for better healing and prevention of complications. Said air tube of the device allows to ensure nasal breathing in the postoperative period. And the elastic chambers with individual channels for the introduction of the filler in the filled state provide tampon (hemostatic) function in the early postoperative period. In the nasal cavity, the device can be fixed by applying a U-shaped suture.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the functional effectiveness of the surgical treatment of congenital and posttraumatic deformities of the nasal septum and chronic rhinitis.
