METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF RISK OF RECURRENCE OF SYMPTOMATIC UTERINE MYOMA AFTER SELECTIVE EMBOLIZATION OF UTERINE ARTERIES Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61B5/1468 G01N33/48

Abstract RU 2766809 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to gynecology, and can be used to predict the risk of recurrent symptomatic uterine myoma after selective embolization of uterine arteries. That is ensured by establishing a combination of prognostic criteria in the form of a body weight index < 22.3; previous heavy menstrual bleeding and previous hormonal therapy. If the patient with symptomatic uterine myoma has a combination of the above criteria, recurrent myomatous nodes growth is predicted in 78.8 % of cases.

EFFECT: invention provides a personalized approach to choosing a management approach to this category of patients, which in turn reduces the risk of recurrent myomatous nodes and provides good treatment results.
