SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular to gynecology, and can be used for the treatment of uterine fibroids, including surgical intervention. For this purpose, a preliminary molecular genetic examination of the patient is carried out to determine the presence of the rs11773597 allele in the promoter region of the CYP3A4 gene. In its absence, preoperative hormone therapy is prescribed followed by laparoscopic organ-sparing surgery. If the rs11773597 allele is present in the promoter region of the CYP3A4 gene, hysterectomy is performed without prior hormone therapy.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to determine the effectiveness of preoperative hormonal therapy of uterine fibroids, choose the right treatment tactics, and ensure timely organ-sparing surgery.
