FIELD: electric locomotive converter diagnosis.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the diagnosis of an electric locomotive converter. A method for determining a faulty arm of a rectifier-inverter converter of an electric locomotive in traction mode consists in the fact that instantaneous values of the voltage of the contact network, rectified voltage, rectified current are measured. The harmonic components of the rectified voltage are calculated, the ratio of the first, third and fifth amplitudes of the harmonic components of the rectified voltage to the amplitude of the zero harmonic component is calculated. The integral of the negative component of the rectified voltage for the half-period of the mains voltage is calculated, the rectified power for the period of the mains voltage and the rectified power for half the period of the mains voltage are calculated. By comparing the calculated values with the predetermined values of the parameters of the normal operation mode and by comparing the calculated values in the current half-period of the voltage of the contact network to the values obtained in the previous half-period, taking into account the regulation zone, a conclusion is made about the serviceability or malfunction of the converter, indicating the number of the faulty arm.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy and simplifying the procedure for finding a faulty transducer arm.
