FIELD: electric-power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the supply of electricity to electrical networks in contact with pantographs of vehicles. The system of AC electrified railways contains an external power supply system (EPS), traction substations, contact network, track circuit and traction loads. Traction substations contain traction transformers with voltage regulation under load (VUL) and high and traction voltage switchgears, including feeders for the traction network and reverse current supply arms and longitudinal capacitive compensation devices (LCCD). The traction network contains overhead sections and a track circuit. In this case, the system is additionally equipped with blocks: determining the switching time, determining the input resistance of the EPS, determining the inductive resistance of traction transformers in operation, determining the resistance of the LCCD, switching the resistance of the LCCD, determining the voltage drop across the active resistances of the VUL, determining the voltage drop across the active resistances of traction transformers in operation and selection of the tap changer stage.
EFFECT: compensation of the voltage drop on the inductive resistances of the traction transformer windings and the input resistances of the EPS.
