FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mining industry, in particular, to development of placer deposits and man-made accumulations of mineral raw materials followed by strengthening hydraulic engineering structures. The method for increasing the stability of the slopes of earth dams of a process sump includes laying a geotextile material on the slopes and securing at the base of the slope by a stop. Geotubes filled with a two-phase mixture of a technological sump are used as a stop, located on both sides of the dam, wherein the surface at the location of the geotube on the opposite side of the reservoir is made with a slope from the dam.
EFFECT: provided increase in the stability and reduction in the environmental pollution.
