FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining industry, namely, to methods of explosive breaking of rocks from massif, and can be used, first of all, in mining by open method. Method of explosive breaking of rocks from massif comprises drilling of wells, formation of explosive charge in well, initiation of detonation conductor and blasting of explosive charge. Downhole explosive charge consists of upper 12 and lower 14 sections, separated by inert gap 4, for example, air, and each equipped with charge 11, 13, connected by common detonation conductor 10, for example, by means of detonating cord or shock-wave tube passing through inert gap 4, connected to initiation device including charge 7 with electric detonator 8 connected to blasting network. In inert gap 4 a device is installed, including disc-shaped bases 1, 2 with a central hole, connected to tubular column 3, in the middle part of which there is box 6 for the initiation device, wherein detonation conductor 10 connecting initiation device and charges 11, 13 in sections 12, 14 is passed through tubular column 3 and holes in bases 1, 2.

EFFECT: use of the declared invention will provide improved technical and economic parameters of rock loosening due to reduced pressure of detonation products and increasing the total time of the explosion impact on the massif during the blasting process; implementation of technical solution excludes mechanical damage of charges and reduces consumption of explosives.
