FIELD: transport machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Tire comprises a structural member comprising a cross-linked elastomeric material obtained by cross-linking a cross-linkable elastomeric composition containing carbon nanotubes, where carbon nanotubes are obtained using a catalyst based on iron oxides, aluminum oxides and/or mixed iron and aluminum oxides, substantially free of Co, Ni and Mo. Method of producing said catalyst involves preparing an aqueous solution (i) containing soluble salts of Fe3+ and Al3+; obtaining an aqueous solution of (ii) ammonium hydroxide; adding solution (ii) to solution (i) until reaching pH 6–8, at which gel formation occurs in the solution. Further, the gel is dried at 35–100 °C and calcined at 250–750 °C in an air or nitrogen atmosphere.
EFFECT: providing a tire with improved resistance to impact loads and tearing.
