FIELD: radio location.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of surface radio location and can be used to detect hidden infrastructure objects in the ground. Substance: the robotic apparatus is made in the form of an autonomous search vehicle (2) remote-controlled via a radio channel from the control station (1). The search vehicle (2) comprises a remote-controlled undercarriage in the form of a chassis with grousers on the driving wheels (3), a radio locator (6) in the form of a radio location station, and an onboard computer (7). The grousers located on the surface of the driving wheels (3) are intended for use as a seismic wave generator (4) during the movement of the search vehicle (2). The radio locator (6) consists of a transceiver with a phased antenna array providing surface scanning by means of the onboard computer (7), as well as recording and identification of subsurface objects on reaction thereof to seismic impact from the undercarriage of the search vehicle (2).
EFFECT: implementation of an apparatus for locating subsurface objects in the form of an autonomous search vehicle and use of the structure of a drive of movement thereof as a seismic wave generator, eliminating the use of an external powerful source of a seismic acoustic signal.
