SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave oven. Microwave oven comprises a cooking chamber, a working panel, a scanner configured to read a bar or QR code from a food package, laser emitters located on the upper panel of the cooking chamber, input voltage control unit and controller. Scanner for reading is placed inside the chamber for cooking food products on its upper panel. Scanner, laser emitters and input voltage control unit are connected to controller. When installing a package with a food product into the cooking chamber, laser emitters must match the target marks applied on the package with the food product, to provide a fixed position of a bar or QR code applied on a package with a food product for its reading by a scanner.

EFFECT: enabling control of a microwave oven for high-quality preparation of a food product with automatic reading of encrypted information on identification of a food product in the form of a bar or QR code applied on a package with a food product, a scanner located inside the cooking chamber.
