FIELD: waste treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for deactivating catalytic poisons in dicyclopentadiene, characterized by the fact that the initial dicyclopentadiene is heated in an inert gas atmosphere to a temperature of 60-100°C, an amine catalyst selected from the group is introduced: 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-(dimethylamino)phenol, dimethylbenzylamine, 2,4,6-tris(dimethylaminomethyl)phenol, 1-methylimidazole, 2-methylimidazole, and kept for 10-30 minutes with stirring, then a reagent selected from the group: phosphites, cyclic anhydrides of carboxylic acids, or a combination thereof, is mixed for 15-360 minutes, heated to a temperature of 150-200°C, kept at a set temperature for 15-360 minutes and filtered through active aluminum oxide or zeolite 13X.
EFFECT: invention simplifies the method for decontamination of catalytic poisons in dicyclopentadiene, achieving polymerization purity and increasing the physico-chemical parameters of the target product.
