SUBSTANCE: device (10) for personal oral hygiene, made with the possibility to be used together with removable brush head (20) with first light guide (28), contains handle (16), actuating mechanism (14) with hollow drive shaft (18), second light guide (36) located coaxially between the first and the second ends of the hollow drive shaft, rear locking connecting adapter (62) connected to the second end of the hollow drive shaft and the second light guide, light source (66) intended for light emission to the second light guide, and optionally, front locking connecting adapter (34) connected to the first end of the hollow drive shaft and the second light guide.

EFFECT: physical connection of the brush head to the handle provides the possibility of (i) rotation of the brush head due to the rotation of the hollow drive shaft, and (ii) light emission from the light source through the second light guide to the first light guide.
