FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer composites filled with finished carbon fibre from polyphenylene sulphide, and a method for their production, intended as structural polymer materials, which includes polyphenylene sulphide and carbon fibres, finished with an organic finishing agent, 4,4'-dioxydiphenylsulphone.
EFFECT: improvement of the physical and mechanical properties of the created polymer composites due to introduction of finishing agent, which increases wettability of filler and increases intermolecular adhesion interaction between carbon fibre and polyphenylene sulphide matrix.
