FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composite materials based on polyphenylene sulphide and carbon fibres, finished with an organic compound - 1,4-benzenedicarboxylic acid, and a method of producing said materials, intended as structural polymer materials.
EFFECT: improving the physical and mechanical and rheological properties of the created composite materials due to introduction of finishing agent, which increases wettability of filler and increases intermolecular adhesion interaction between carbon fibre and polyphenylene sulphide matrix.
