FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: quality control device for insulating coating of a section of a steel pipeline laid in the ground relates to a system for controlling quality of insulation on sections of a steel pipeline, including those laid by directional drilling. Control device consists of a controlled pipeline, an oscilloscope, which is connected by a wire to a pulse module, a control earthing anode, a switch, DC power supply, stabilized rectangular pulses generator, milliammeter, pulse generator power switch, and module of rectangular pulses is connected by a wire through the key to the anode-earthing switch. Device operates from a direct current source located inside the housing of the pulse module; the consumed current is controlled by a direct current milliammeter. Output stabilized pulse signal is controlled by an oscilloscope. Pulse output signal from generator of stabilized rectangular pulses arrives to oscilloscope, which is connected to pipe. Oscilloscope wire is connected to output of pulse generator. Milliammeter is connected to the break of the power supply wire of the pulse generator and is connected to the control earthing anode through the switch. Module of pulses of the device can be a source of stabilized rectangular pulses made on a microcircuit with additional resistances and capacitors.
EFFECT: technical result of the proposed technical solution is the creation of a device allowing to control the quality of the pipeline insulation coating.
