FIELD: cable production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to flame retardant coatings of the swelling type. A set for the preparation of a flame retardant swelling composition is proposed, including one or more container units of equal or unequal volume with a base and one or more container units of equal or unequal volume with a catalyst or catalytic mixture. A flame-retardant swelling composition of cold curing obtained using the specified set is also proposed.
EFFECT: increase in the mechanical strength of the foam formed during the heating of the flame-retardant composition of cold curing, as well as a reduction in the consumption of the flame-retardant composition and the possibility of applying a thin layer of the composition.
