SIGNALING ASPECTS FOR SPECIFYING JOINTLY PLANNED DMRS PORTS IN MU-MIMO Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC H04B7/452

Abstract RU 2767768 C2

FIELD: wireless communication.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication; it can be used to transmit/receive data by a mobile terminal device and a base station. In the invention, information on joint planning is transmitted by signaling, based on groups of code division multiplexing (hereinafter – CDM) in a communication system, where data is transmitted and/or received at levels using a set of antennas. The mobile terminal receives from the base station a parameter defining the configuration for assigning ports to corresponding resources for carrying reference signals, wherein resources are grouped in a set of CDM groups, and control information indicating one combination from a set of combinations of level mapping per port, which is to be used to place reference signals on ports of at least one CDM group for transmission and/or receiving data. Control information additionally indicates joint planning information for this at least one and at least another CDM group from the specified set of CDM groups for the same data transmission and/or reception. Joint planning information may indicate, whether the base station is jointly planning at least one another mobile terminal in another CDM group, or the base station is not jointly planning another mobile terminal in another CDM group.

EFFECT: improvement of the adaptation of the transmission rate matching to increase the data transmission capacity and improve the possibility of coherent demodulation.
