FIELD: processing of spent nuclear fuel.

SUBSTANCE: method of producing a powder containing a homogeneous mixture of U3O8 particles and PuO2 particles includes: obtaining an aqueous suspension of S1 uranium (IV) oxalate particles and an aqueous suspension of S2 plutonium (IV) oxalate particles using oxalate deposition procedures; mixing suspensions S1 and S2. Further, the aqueous suspension S1+2 is separated into an aqueous phase and a solid phase containing uranium (IV) oxalate particles and plutonium (IV) oxalate particles. And then calcining the solid phase to convert uranium (IV) oxalate particles into triuranium octoxide particles and plutonium (IV) oxalate particles into plutonium (IV) dioxide particles, as a result of which a powder is obtained.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify control of residual water flows.
