FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing a powder of an oxide of at least one metal, wherein the oxidation number of each metal ranges from (III) to (VI). Method includes, successively and in this order: a) reacting an aqueous solution containing, for each metal, at least one salt with the cation of said metal, with a compound containing hydroxide, b) separating the precipitate obtained, c) bringing the separated precipitate into contact with an organic proton polar solvent, d) removing the organic proton polar solvent by vacuum drying the precipitate. Invention also relates to a method for producing a pellet of an oxide of at least one metal, to a powder and a pellet obtained by this method, as well as to use thereof.
EFFECT: method for producing a metal oxide powder, a method for producing a pellet from a metal oxide, a powder and a pellet obtained by these methods, and their use are disclosed.
