FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine building, namely to stands for testing fuel injectors. The method for testing an electrohydraulic injector includes a local increase in temperature by heating the outer surface of the actuator electromagnet with an industrial heat gun to a predetermined temperature. The pyrometer performs instrumental control of the temperature of the outer surface of the actuator electromagnet. After heating the outer surface of the actuator electromagnet, this temperature is maintained for a duration of time determined by the results of preliminary work with injectors having electromagnetic actuators similar in design and production technology, cyclic fuel supply by the injector is measured before and during the said heating.
EFFECT: improving test efficiency.
