FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions for producing heat-resistant heat-insulating foam materials, which can be used as high-temperature and high-strength heat insulation operating in an oxidative environment. Said technical result is achieved by using in composition of tetraethoxysilane hydrolyzed in a medium of aqueous ethyl alcohol as a silicon-containing binder, hollow ceramic microspheres and white electrocorundum as a mineral filler, with the following ratio of components of the composition, wt.%: said silicon-containing binder 14.0–76.0; hollow ceramic microspheres 21.0–66.0; white electrocorundum 3.0–20.0.
EFFECT: high heat resistance and strength of the foam material.
