FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building. Disclosed is a method for controlling a defect of a heat-shielding coating of a sample during tests for thermal cyclic resistance, which consists in the fact that sample is installed in the appliance and thermocyclic tests are carried out using a heating element at temperature of 20–1,500 °C. In addition, an electronic computer is used, as well as a machine vision device, which performs photographing of the sample at the beginning of each cycle and after holding at the maximum temperature, images are unloaded into an electronic computer, by means of which the photographs of the sample are automatically compared with the samples stored in the database of the electronic computer, according to previously conducted tests, detecting defects of the heat-shielding coating of the sample, displaying the value of the defect of the coating on the operator panel, tests are automatically stopped for a sample with defects in total exceeding the permissible value A, wherein the permissible value A is equal to 20–30 % of the surface area of the sample Ssample.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to automate testing of samples with coatings for thermal cyclic resistance, as well as to increase reliability and accuracy of control of the state of heat-shielding coating during tests.
