FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of applying a heat-resistant wear-resistant coating on the surface of a part made from cast iron or steel. Part surface is subjected to abrasive-jet treatment with silicon carbide, Co-Cr-Al-Y sublayer is plasma sprayed and cermet composition is deposited from mechanical powder mixture. Said powder mixture contains the following ratio of components: 10–20 wt.% of nichrome, 20–40 wt.% of zirconium dioxide with a stabilizing additive in the form of yttrium oxide, the content of which is 4–7 wt.%, 10–20 wt.% of nickel aluminide, 50–12 wt.% of molybdenum, and 10–8 wt.% of boron.
EFFECT: higher wear resistance, anti-seize properties, heat resistance and adhesion of the coating.
