SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an application of complex compounds of terbium with organic ligands such as acetylacetone (a), pyrazolone (b), pyrazolone triphenylphosphine oxide (c), by the formulas

wherein acac is acetylacetone (a), pmip is tris-(1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-isobutyryl-5-pyrazolone) (b), TPPO is triphenylphosphine oxide (c), as scintillation materials for dosimeters and ionising emission detectors. The intensity of roentgenoluminescence of the complexes (a), (b), and (c) exceeds the intensity of roentgenoluminescence of the best CaI2:Eu2+ scintillator.

EFFECT: high scintillation activity of the complex compounds (a), (b) and (c) allows using said compounds as scintillation materials in dosimeters and ionising emission detectors.
