SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of steam turbine construction and can be used, in particular, when applying a protective coating on sections of steam turbines using a source of action by electrospark alloying. Device for applying coating on turbine blades by electrospark alloying comprises an applicator with an alloying electrode for applying a protective layer on the surface of the blades and a feedback detector for reading the geometry of the blades, mounted on a mechanical manipulator based on servo drives with at least five degrees of freedom, at least three of which are translational, and at least two are rotational, wherein said device and mechanical manipulator are connected with control system and electric spark alloying unit.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at improvement of accuracy of application of protective layer on turbine blades and reduction of loss of working profile of turbine blades due to occurrence of deformations and excessive stresses in them.
