FIELD: medicine; pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutics, namely to a method for preparing a liposomal composition in which gemcitabine or its hydrochloride is contained in a liposome. Method comprises mixing an oil phase consisting of a water-soluble organic solvent and an organic ester solvent with an aqueous phase; mixing the obtained aqueous solution containing a lipid - hydrogenated soya phosphatidylcholine, 1,2-distearoyl-3-phosphatidylethanolamine polyethylene glycol and cholesterol in a certain ratio; evaporating the organic solvent from the aqueous solution containing liposomes; introducing gemcitabine or its hydrochloride into the obtained liposome and controlling the osmotic pressure of the internal aqueous phase of the liposome so that it is 2 to 8 times the osmotic pressure of the external aqueous phase of the liposome.
EFFECT: invention provides producing liposomes containing gemcitabine or its salt as a drug for treating cancer, having an acceptable rate of release, easy release of the drug and storage stability.
