SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiology, functional diagnostics, and can be used for determination of integral rigidity of arterial system. Systolic and diastolic blood pressure values (SBP and DBP) are determined. Then pulse pressure (PP) is determined as difference of SBP and DBP. Echocardiography is used to determine stroke volume (SV) and heart rate. Volume elasticity coefficient (VECav) is calculated by the formula .

EFFECT: method enables more effective personalized antihypertensive therapy ensured by differentiating the circulation types in the patients with AH and determining the hemodynamic factors responsible for the blood pressure increase.
