FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the tobacco industry, namely to a battery charger for an aerosol delivery device. The smart battery charger for the aerosol delivery device contains a casing, as well as the first connector connected to the casing and made with the possibility of interaction with a control case connected or made with the possibility of connection to a cartridge to form an aerosol delivery device, wherein the cartridge is equipped with a heating element, and it contains an aerosol precursor composition. The control case contains a power source made with the possibility of power supply to the heating element to activate and evaporate components of the aerosol precursor composition. The smart battery charger for the aerosol delivery device additionally contains the second connector connected to the casing and made with the possibility of interaction with a power supply device. The power supply device is connected to the power source, when the first connector is brought to the interaction with the control case, and the second connector is brought to the interaction with the power supply device. The power supply device is made with the possibility of control for power supply to recharge the power source. The smart battery charger for the aerosol delivery device includes an integrated power control circuit (hereinafter – IPCC) made with the possibility of obtaining temperature measurements of the power source, comparison of the temperature with a predefined temperature range and control of power supplied by the power supply device to maintain the temperature within the predefined temperature range during recharging. IPCC is made with the possibility of control of power supplied by the power supply device based on a given charging profile of the power source. IPCC is made with the possibility of reception of the given charging profile from an external computing device.
EFFECT: elimination of the possibility of damage to a battery due to optimization of control of charging power in the specified temperature ranges.
