FIELD: smoking devices.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the aerosol delivery device and the control case of the aerosol delivery device. The aerosol delivery device contains a power source connected to an electrical load, made with the possibility to produce an aerosol from an aerosol precursor composition. The power source contains a lithium-ion capacitor (LIC), made with the possibility to supply power to the electrical load. The DC-to-DC converter is connected to the lithium-ion capacitor between the lithium-ion capacitor and the electrical load. The diode is connected to a DC-to-DC converter and the electrical load placed between them, wherein the DC-to-DC converter has an input and output, and the diode has an anode and cathode. The input and output of the DC-to-DC converter are respectively connected to the lithium-ion capacitor and the diode anode, and the diode cathode is connected to the electrical load. The microprocessor is made with the possibility to operate in active mode, in which the microprocessor is made with the possibility to direct power from the power source to the electrical load and thus control the electrical load to produce an aerosol.
EFFECT: invention provides for facilitation of the current flow to the electrical load and prevention of the current return when the capacitor is discharged.
