FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: valve device comprises valve control mechanism (1) and two-way valve (2). Said valve control mechanism (1) additionally has force sensor (12) which measures tensile force (14) and/or pressure acting on actuating element (9). Force (14) acting on actuator (9) corresponds to force (14) acting on valve element (6), and travel sensor (13) measuring actuator (9) displacement from first position, actuator (10) acting on actuator (9) and control means (11) controlling actuator (10). Control means (11) is configured to adjust the displacement of actuator (9) based on force (14) measured by force sensor (12), the displacement of actuator (9) from the first position measured by stroke sensor (13), and preset flow rate (18). Ratio between flow rate (18), force (14) and displacement is stored in information matrix (17), which is read by control means (11) for controlling displacement of actuator (9), wherein, if force sensor (12) determines a change in force, data on new force and current displacement are used as input to information matrix (17) to determine a new displacement of actuator (9) for a given flow rate, wherein actuating element (9) moves to adjust valve element (6) to required displacement relative to valve seat (5).
