SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a container for storing an article, such as a life jacket, under an aircraft seat. Storage container comprises a partition, such as a door or panel, in which a slot and a window leading into the slot are formed, and an integrity violation indicator for monitoring and/or detecting violation of the integrity of the partition. Integrity violation indicator comprises an indicator assembly comprising an indicator located with possibility of sliding inside a slot, which can be formed by a front panel and a rear panel of the partition. Indicator assembly also comprises a stopper which maintains the indicator in a first state when the partition is in a first position (e.g., a closed or sealed position), and which releases the indicator into the second state when the partition moves from the first position to the second position (for example, an open position or a broken integrity position). After the partition returns to the first position, the indicator remains in the second state until the indicator is reset by the operator to the first state.

EFFECT: disclosed is a storage container with a violation detection and indication system.
