SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a dishwasher, comprising a control unit. Dishwasher, containing the tank, which includes an opening for service, made with the possibility of loading and unloading of dishes through it; a door, which is adapted to close the opening for service and at the upper edge of which there is at least one control switch; a base, at the front side of which the compartment is formed and which is adapted to support the said tank; an electronic control unit connected with at least one working part of the dishwasher to control the dishwashing process and the said at least one control switch located at a distance from the base and the said at least one electronic control unit, and the said electronic control unit is made manageable by the said at least one control switch for controlling the said at least one working part of the dishwasher, and the electronic control unit is located at the base and is available optionally from its front side for ease of maintenance, inspection and/or replace of the electronic control unit, and the housing configured to accommodate in it the electronic control unit and with the possibility of location in the said compartment, and the housing is mounted with the ability of rotation relative to the specified compartment. The appropriate method is also proposed.
