FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil-free natural gas compressors pumping high-pressure gas by high-speed reciprocating motion. Oil-free compressor with a cooling apparatus includes an oil control assembly installed between the crank assembly and the cylinder assembly. The assembly comprises a body, installed whereon are primary and secondary purification rings assembled from arc-shaped segments, made of an anti-friction alloy based on tin with added antimony and copper, containing protruding parts, a spring, grooves formed on the inner and outer sides of the segments, radially through holes, as well as a packaging bowl and the cover of the packaging bowl. A groove protruding outward is formed on the inner surface of the segments. A groove recessed inward for retaining the spring is formed on the outer surface of the segments. Radially through holes are made on the segments and on the protruding parts of the rings to ensure communication between the grooves. The rings are configured to slide along the piston rod to lock the oil on the outer surface of the rod during movement thereof.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the productivity by preventing oil leakage inside the compressor.
