FIELD: cryogenic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cryogenic equipment; it can be used in air separation. One or more products from the air are obtained using air separation unit (100) having system (14-17) of distillation columns, which includes high-pressure column (14) and low-pressure column (15), as well as main heat exchanger (9) and main air compressor. The total volume of air supplied to system (10-17) of distillation columns is compressed in main air compressor (1) to the first pressure level, and high-pressure column (15) is operated at the second pressure level, which is at least 300 kPa lower than the first pressure level. Gaseous nitrogen-saturated fluid is extracted from high-pressure column (15) at the second pressure level and heated in a gaseous state. The first partial amount of gaseous nitrogen-saturated fluid is heated to the first temperature level from -150 to -100°C, supplied at the first temperature level into booster (12), and, using booster (12), is additionally compressed to the third pressure level. The specified first partial amount after compression to the third pressure level is heated to the second temperature level above the first temperature level and is constantly discharged from unit (100).
EFFECT: increased efficiency.
