FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to neurosurgery, and can be used for repairing an injured peripheral nerve. Surgical approach to the injured nerve is performed, followed by neurolysis of its proximal and distal ends; the proximal and distal ends of the nerve are sutured together by applying an epineural suture. Then a biopolymer tube is applied on the stitched nerve, which is in an open state, which in the middle one-third has a hole with diameter of 2 mm, which provides connection of the cavity of the tube to the environment. To the outer surface of the biopolymer tube, a silicone capillary drain tube is attached using a biopolymer rectangular patch made from the same polymer as the silicone capillary drain tube, which in turn is fixed to the outer surface of the biopolymer tube with the help of cyanoacrylate, a longitudinal suture is applied on the biopolymer tube, thereby closing the tube and providing a tight fixation of the nerve in its cavity. Outer end of the silicone capillary drainage tube is brought out onto the patient's skin and fixed with a plaster. Through a silicone capillary drain tube, a drug substance having neurotrophic properties is introduced, into the lumen of the biopolymer tube through a hole in its middle one-third in the area of the epineural suture for 1 month. One month later, the silicone capillary drainage tube is removed from the wound cavity, and the latter is closed.

EFFECT: method provides controlling the approach of the proximal and distal ends of the nerve, possibility of fixing the proximal and distal ends of the nerve in the tube cavity and, as a result, reduced time of peripheral nerve recovery due to use of silicone tube.
