SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of heat engineering and can be applied in heat exchangers used in various sectors of the national economy. The invention consists in making a heat exchange surface for intensifying heat transfer during a turbulent flow of a coolant in the form of periodically applied recesses, which are made in the form of a boomerang, consisting of two halves of a spherical recess with a diameter b, connected by a cylindrical torus-shaped segment of length l=l1+l2 in such a way that the condition is realized that the tangent to the segment of length l1 made an angle
EFFECT: invention increases the thermal and thermohydraulic efficiency of the heat exchange surface.
