FIELD: heating engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention consists in designing the heat exchange surface to intensify heat transfer of a turbulent coolant flow, containing V-shaped recesses made on the heat exchange surface in the form of two cylindrical recesses located at an angle and mating on a smooth surface with spherical curves at the free ends, while the recesses and the mating surface are located symmetrically relative to the plane perpendicular to the heat transfer surface, and the mating surface is located downstream relative to the free ends of the recesses. The recesses can be mated along a spherical surface. In a particular case, the recesses are located at an angle to the surface in such a way that the depth and width of the recesses decreases in the direction from the free ends to the mating surface.
EFFECT: increases efficiency of the heat exchange surface.
