SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of construction materials, namely to the production of thermal insulation materials. The method for manufacturing thermal insulation material using recycled solid household waste is that the silicate block is crushed to a specific surface of 2500 cm2/g, mixed with a modifier: superplasticizer C-3, a strengthening additive in the form of Portland cement, an additional strengthening additive: recycled solid household waste that is crushed spent tires obtained by pyrolysis technology, the temperature of which is 450-650°C with limited oxygen access, at waste processing plants, with a foaming agent in the form of hydrogen peroxide and hardening water, the mixture is poured into a mold and then the mixture is heat treated with microwave currents for 15 minutes at a temperature of 300°C, with the following ratio of the components of the mixture, wt. %: silicate-block 62.188-64, superplasticizer C-3 0.01-0.012, Portland cement 10-12, crushed spent tires 0.04-0.1, hydrogen peroxide 0.5-0.7, hardening water 25.

EFFECT: increase in environmental safety and conservation of natural resources in the production of thermal insulation material, while preserving its physical and mechanical properties.
